Final Digital Story Post
Hey All,
Only 83 more minutes until Youtube will finish uploading my video. I am hoping it all goes okay. It has been churning away uploading for 3.5 hours already. Hope you enjoy it.
Here is the url that it will be uploaded at when if finally finishes. I will come back and embed it after if is done.

I have the link twice as I am typing it on a different computer as I didn't want to disturb the uploading process on the mac. I wasn't sure if there was a capital "O" or a zero in there. So I have one of each there.

I knew you would be having lengthy upload issues as well - see my previous comments, and note on my blog - I beat you with an 18 hr upload! Yikes.
ReplyDeleteYour video came out well and you really did tell the story quite well. The explanations within the video were helpful to keep it clear. I enjoyed seeing the child's exuberance in the video! :) I liked how you were able to take some of the previous "fireside chat" video and put it w/the new video. Also, you have a good voice for video. My only suggestion (don't take this wrong) is to tighten up the editing with an eye towards shortening the length of the finished piece. I did that w/mine (because I was NOT going to give google my cell# to get increased time) , and it was painful and time consuming to cut so much out, yet I think it was better overall as a result. Because you have a calm voice, and the teachers speak softly, and the shots are from some distance, it may be challenging to keep some viewers attention at this length. But you have an excellent concept, and a well-developed lesson here for teachers, so you don't want to lose them for those reasons!
Great story! :)
How are you having these upload times? Either your internet connection is sad and needs to be bundled with your cable, or your video is not correctly compressed.
ReplyDeleteYour video is well done and it is impressive to see how far you have come this semester. I really like what you have done here. I like the story about Luke, and I really agree with what you have to say here. Good job.
Oh wow! You really did a great job with this. I was so excited with the kids--I had a smile on my face as the teachers talked about what happened. I also learned something about teaching math. Nice work!!!
